Food is delicious and reasonably priced. Moo yang and south sea fried rice are our favorite.

Oh, the memories that have been created inside of this restaurant. It traces back to over 20 years ago, back in high school days, when it was cool to find the coolest boba joint with good food. Banana Bay stuck with me even throughout my 20's, when my friends and I could finally drink and we would still come hang for some pina coladas, and of course, their good food. In my 30's, hubbie and I still liked to visit once in a while. Over the years, we moved away and we sort of forgot about the place. Yesterday, we happened to be visiting West Covina, and decided to swing by for lunch. Wow, nothing has changed! Their decoration, bar, music stage, we wondered if their fish were still alive from years back lol. The place was pretty empty when we came, but it was only 11 am or so. I loved that they had a lunch menu. We ordered pad see ew and chicken Hanain, and could not pass up on the $1.99 Thai Iced tea lunch special. Once we took a bite of our food, I remembered why I love this place so much. Their lunch special is quite a deal, especially for high prices everywhere these days. Their portions were generous for the price. And who does not love adding on a Thai iced tea for $1.99? I sure hope Banana Bay sticks around for longer. It holds such great memories. If you have never been, I recommend their pad see ew and pad Thai. Their chicken hanain was delicious as well, I chose for healthy option, and it was very delicious. There is something for everyone at Banana Bay, great food for sure

First of all I'm Thai so my review is authentic! Went for the kow mun gai - steamed chicken with ginger rice. The chicken was a tad bit dry to be honest but the ginger soy sauce that it came with was super good! The pad Thai was good as well. We ordered take out so I have no input on service but we'll definitely be back for the food !

I love coming to this place for cheap drinks and good vibes with my friends. This time I came here for a graduation dinner and the vibes are much different. We came here on a Wednesday night for a graduation dinner and many other people had the same idea because there were a ton of other graduates and their families. Ambiance: 3/5 This place is always lively and usually has live music playing. It is a great hangout spot for friends and maybe dates, but not for family celebrations. The loud music is usually so loud that you can hardly talk to people at your table. Also, almost every time I've been here, there has been some drunken person trying to start a fight. That's what happens when you offer cheap drinks, but that's no fault of the restaurant. One of the best redeeming factors is their decoration during Halloween and Christmas, I would definitely come back for the atmosphere. Food: 4/5 Food was pretty good for the most part. We had a large party and decided to family style. My favorite is their Crispy Hainan Chicken which is flavorful, light and crispy, and the sweet chili sauce is amazing. Their pad seew and papaya salad are also pretty good. Their pad Thai however is not the best. They give too much bean sprouts and not much noodles. Price: 4/5 This place is great for cheap alcohol. Their buy one get one drinks for $7 is a steal. Their food is a little on the pricier side around $15-$18 per dish. The portions are also not that big. We had a party of 8 people and did family style. We ordered 8 dishes and were not full. I definitely think there are more affordable Thai food place in the 626. Service: 5/5 The service, despite it being a busy night, was great. The servers are quick to bring out all the plates, napkins, waters, and utensils. They were friendly and very helpful. The food came out pretty quick as well after we ordered.
